How far is this place from Bangkok?
The Upside Down World is in Salaya Avea, located at the main road of the Boromratchachonranee Road, before arriving at Phutthamonthon Sai 5 inbound in Bangkok. It will take 30 minutes to ride from Bangkok to reach the place. There are plenty of transport services running between Bangkok and Upside Down World, such as cars, motorbikes, tuk-tuks, and buses. You can choose the most convenient one and reach the destination on time. If you’re left out of options, you can ask guidance from the tour operator, who is ready to help you anytime.
What is the child limit for tickets?
There are certain relaxations provided for children as follows: Children with a height below 90 cm (2.9 feet) can enter into this different world freely and explore all rooms at ease. For children, having a height between 90 cm and 120 cm (2.9 feet – 3.9 feet) will be charged as per child fare. And for children with a height above 4 feet will be charged as per the adult fare. In the Upside Down World, kids can literally feel like, they're standing upside down, run and try to catch their parents. Thus, it is sure to be fun and entertaining for all kids.
Is the whole house inverted?
Yes. The whole house is inverted, not only from inside but also from outside. It turns your whole world upside down and makes you feel like hanging from the rooftop. In this house, they have nearly 15 different rooms. Each room is decorated with vibrant colours, interior designs, and other magical attractions. Thus, one can get a unique experience in each and every room. Are we allowed to take photographs?
Yes, indeed. The tourists are allowed to take pictures inside the house. There is no restriction fixed as such on the visitors. One cannot leave the house simply without taking photographs. This surreal experience is truly one-of-a-kind and can’t be seen anywhere else, so it is very exciting to click as much as photos they can. Since people always love to do different things and seizing those moments without any delay, here also they get an ample opportunity to do crazy poses and stunts with their friends and seize them into beautiful pictures.
What are the timings?
The timing followed in the Upside Down World is from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. And it is open all days a year. One can add this unbelievable house in their bucket list, if he or she is planning a holiday trip to Bangkok. The tourists are recommended to book the tickets at the earliest and get the best experience out of it. Since most of the visitors come during weekends, you can try to get tickets on weekdays as it gives you more time to stay inside and avoid the unnecessary crowd.
What is the cancellation policy?
Yes. You can cancel the visit to Upside Down World Bangkok. As per the cancellation policy, if you cancel at least one day prior to the actual visit, you will be subjected to 7% charge for the administration fee, and you will be getting a refundable amount. If you cancel the visit within one day, there is no refund amount approved. Please note that the applicable refund amount will be processed and given to you within 10 business days. If you find any doubts, you can contact the tour operator directly and clarify it instantly. In case of no show, there is no refund amount.
How to reach Upside Down World Bangkok?
It is located at 79 Thanon Frontage, Bang Toei, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom 73210, Thailand. For public transport users, they can take a bus at the Khok Wua intersection, Ratchadamnoen Klang Road bus stop. It is situated in front of Government Saving Bank to bus stop “Tesco Lotus Salaya”. Once you reach the bus stop, you need to cross the road, and you can see the entrance. One can also take the BTS sky train and head to Bang Wa Station, from there the Upside Down World is very close. If you’re staying far away, you can hire a cab and show the address to the driver. He will take you to the destination without much hassle.
How much time do we need to explore the place fully?
One can take at least 1 hour to explore the entire house. Like a normal house, here also you can see a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, a toilet, and a living room. Once you enter the place, the staffs will take you to a small tour inside, showing the unusual environment, where lamps and fans are below you screwed tightly. Similarly, all the tables, chairs, and other furniture stuff are on the opposite end.
What are the different zones in Upside Down World Bangkok?
There are five different zones built in Upside Down World. Kitchen – A kitchen having all utensils and necessary items. One can feel like cooking but the food don’t get fall upside down. Bedroom – A bedroom with king-size bed, study table, and other bedroom stuff. Bathroom – It is nothing but an ideal bathroom which has a shower, stand, and an Anker. Toilet – Like every other toilet, here also you can find a western toilet with a water pipe attached to it. Living Room – In living room, you can witness a sofa set, additional chairs, a model TV, and other decorated items around.
What things should we carry?
The first thing you should bring is your valid ID card. It is not mandatory to do verification, but it is highly essential to carry one. Since the whole house is air-conditioned, you might need a jacket or sweater just in case. And finally, don’t forget to bring your camera, where it really has a lot of moments to capture.
