It boasts of its majestic design and architecture with cypress-shaped columns, decorated ceilings and imposing verandahs. The place can be visited during a heritage walk in Pune that is organised every Sunday and offers an entertaining musical performance to the public.

The place has been undergoing constant renovations and houses a post office and some other offices of Pune Municipal Corporation.
